Navigating GenRocket’s Industry-Leading Data Formatting Capabilities
by admin on Jun 03, 2020One of the most flexible aspects of GenRocket’s component architecture is the ability to render test data in any output format. That allows QA teams to design test data for any database environment, file structure or data interchange standard by simply selecting the required Data Receiver for use with any Test Data Scenario.
GenRocket supports the broadest range of data formats for generating real-time synthetic test data in the industry – from traditional mainframe environments to Big Data formats to complex Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards.
For example, if an application uses the row-based Apache Avro format to produce a transaction history report, testers can easily configure a Test Data Scenario with an Avro Receiver to generate test data on-demand. If another application uses the column-based Parquet format for Big Data analytics, it can be tested with data generated using the Apache Parquet receiver.
What combination of data formats does your testing require? We’ve made it easy to scan a table of Receivers to quickly find out if a particular format is supported by GenRocket. If you don’t see a Receiver needed for your testing requirements, just let us know. We develop new Receivers as customers request them all the time – usually in 2 to 3 weeks!
